  1. Hello Folks;
    We developed a H.264 SDK (Windows version). It is one of fastest H264 codec around world (at least we know). The encoding speed is 85 fps (CIF format in Celeron 2.5GHz, 128MB, QP equals 18). Decoding speed is 150 fps (CIF format, P3 500MHz, 128MB).
    You can download a decoder filter and use regsvr32 to register it.
    Then the two DVD clips could be watched by Windws Media Player. Please enjoy it.

    Thanks!
    Jack

    P.S. the dowload URL is: http://www.h-264.com/H264_AVI.rar

    I know you are new so it's just a friendly reminder, but posting the same topic in more than one forum is not acceptable. Someone will likely report it to the mods and it will be fixed.

    Before I download and possibly waste some bandwidth:

    Where is the encoder? Does it encode realtime for video capture. Is it free or do you have a demo available for download?
    I prefer to do my own caps to test your encoder/decoder.
    Transcoding from DVD to h264 is not too usefull for DVD backup but video capture to h264 would generate a lot more interest as a transition stage to the DVD creation of tv shows.

    btw) the root site http://www.h-264.com yields many unreadable characters so obviously that is not your English product information site.

    hi gll99;
    I would like to express my thanks for your kindly reminder.
    For the H.264, we can't encode the D1 size at realtime. Normally, we encode a CIF video clip with 90 fps in Celeron 2.5GHz, 128MB. So D1's encoding speed is closed real time. I guess 3.6Ghz Machine can give you a realtime H.264 D1 encoding feature.
    B.T.W., the www.h-264.com is our company's website but under construction. Becuase lots charactors are Chinese GB charactors, so you will find it unreadable. We apologize it. And it will be fixed soon.
    Thanks!
    Jack

    * http://www.h-264.com/

    decoder here:
    * http://www.h-264.com/images/SVM2_Decoder.rar

    I had to do some digging around for this decoder, as all the links from every
    website the user posted to were changed. Anyways. I haven't tried the
    codec just yet. But, now I realize its 3xx x 288 ??

    Good luck,
