Well, inspite of the fact that only kwag said to keep the guide, no one else said anything about it, so it's going to stay, if anyone is interested then both new guides are now officialy online at:
http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/index.html
soon to be followed by labDV, hopefully VCDhelp, and also a new webpage that will support the guide at the MST3K Digital Archive Project.
I'm still hoping to hear suggestions for improvments on the guide.Email me for faster replies!

-
I'll ask Jim from labDV to make the guide accessible if there is any payments, I want the guide to be free for the users, that's why I made it.

Great News!
I've just completed the last sections of the guide (well, for now!) and it now includes all the requested programs: VirtualDub / VideoServer / CCE & LSX Standalone versions.
Updated Guide is currently accessible on my homepage, soon will be updated on the supporting webpages (VCDhelp, Digital-Digest, labDV, MST3K and hopefully the http://www.sefy.help4u.org/)Email me for faster replies!

Sefy, I've read ver 2.0 of your guide and used it successfully to create VCDs. Thanks for all the effort you have put in creating the guide.
I notice that only garbled text is available at this site:
http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/index.html
Perhaps it's down for maintenance.
Also, is there a tutorial that would tell a total newbie how to include subtitles in a VCD format? I just want to keep the English subs that come on most movies. The basic tools I wanted to use are: CladDVD, DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc, and anything else required to rip and then hard-code the subtitles.
Finally, stay safe with all the craziness going around in your part of the world.

Thank you for responding Manoj, i've checked the links, it seems to be working, so here is a direct link to the new complete guide:
http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/dvdtovcd/index.htm
If you follow the links IN the guide (and not the Menubar) you will be able to choose which programs to use and you can add subtitles into TMPGEnc as well, if you are having problems, and you need help, let me know!Email me for faster replies!

Sefy - Just wanted to say a very belated thankyou for all of your help. I tried to do a little job of it here:-

Your guides are essentially the lifeblood of this forum. There is one part of the U.K that owes you a debt of gratitude. -
Thank you very much! that is very appriciated!
Just wanted to mention here as well, the reason we ask for feedback, is that we can improve the guides, so even the most minor feedback ,regarding a step in the guide you got stuck on, will help us improve it for you.Email me for faster replies!

Ok i started a small project a small gui for Wav2mp since other guis are to hard to understand...it will be a bat file (im no programmer but im learning delphi rite now)
And i have also started my update on my Guide..im styll thinking wat to add..i thinking to remove the vob2audio since alot of people are haveing trouble -
To VCDhelp members, it has recently been brought to my attention that DVD Wizard is selling MY guide as an Ebook! for those of you who paid, you just paid money for a free guide! and that was ripped badly as well!
If you were ever in the webpage below and bought off their "DVD Wizard", you were ripped off, and I suggest you sue them!
http://www.easternisp.org/
This kind of stuff I do not approve, I may not be a programmer, but writing the guide took me alot of time and effort, I wasn't even contacted for any permission by those people.
Because of this development, i'm going to stop doing any updates to the guides untill further notice, please accept my apologies, but I do not approve someone copying things and selling them without even asking for approval.Email me for faster replies!

The address looks kinda bogus...Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
So why don't we just fight fire with fire? Grab copies of everything this DVD Wizard is selling and provide 'em on the forum?
Maybe even set up domain names that are very, VERY close to easternisp.com and just GIVE the stuff away?
Not that I'd do it PERSONALLY... that stuff might be a li'l bit illegal. -
i tried pinoy's page to download vcd templates... not available?

Thank you kitty for your support, and also for the information, i've sent an angry email to that Mr Will, requesting him to stop selling MY guide as his eBook, I know of a few people that will take legal actions against them, will see how this goes.
However, untill further notice on this subject, I won't continue the guide untill the rip off is not being sold anymore, I haven't done all this hard work to cover every single program, just to let a misreable company like that take the credit and get money on my work.
What pisses me off they didn't even contact me to ask for permission, and they didn't even bother changing the text, they simply ripped it off of my guide! while I always give credit to those who wrote the programs and if I used any portions from someone else's guide or asked for help, I give them credit as well, I don't pro-claim i'm the one who did it.
Update: the email is false, see here -

Sefy,
The address in Dayton could be N. or S. Main St.
The ZIP code is a Hamilton, OH Post Office. The town is Shandon OH., located between Okeana and Ross, OH on S.R.s 126 and 748.
The phone # is a Verizon cell phone.
Looks like interstate fraud and plagiarism, since your guides HAVE been published by YOU and vcdhelp.com.
This appears to be a case for the FBI and the US District Attorney, since both are federal offences.
If you inform them of this, I’ll bet that website disappears in about 0.5 ns.
Good luck,
Dave Kern -
Thank you guys for this co-operation, I highly doubt I can afford a lawyer, do recall i'm from Israel, and i'm practicly supporting my whole family because of the situation right now.
But i'll see what can be done to stop them.
What would you guys say if ontop of the free guide (which will ALWAYS remain free on the webpages) i'll sell an eBook for 10$ ? I want your honest opinion on this, basicly the reason i'm asking is, if I sell it, you'd know I won't bullshit you, you'll know what you are getting, and maybe it will also stop the rip-offs off the net, and we might even get to support VCDhelp and all the authors of the programs if the eBook version will sell well (if it sells at all).Email me for faster replies!
