  1. With some bought dvd's my dvd player plays them with that nasty "on the computer interlaced effect"... With most of the dvd's not, but some of them he does... Is there something wrong with my dvd player ? Or is it a matter of settings ? It's not so obivious like on the computer, but you see clearly the horizontal lines, and especially with action scénes ! And don't let me start with the awfull quality in the zoom mode...

    I have a CONIA DVD player that is like that. It plays original DVD's ok, but some burned DVD's are "interlaced. I have no idea why, but it is a very cheap player.[/b]

    My dvd player is an expensive (compared with other brand players) JVC dvd player which is just one year old... It's not a cheapo or anything

  4. You didn't leave any mayonnaise inside your DVD player did you? This has been known to cause issues with many players, and may display the sympthoms you're experiencing.
