Hello,
I have downloaded some movies from the internent and I am trying to copy them to VCD. I am tring to use TMPGEnc and I get an error message telling me that the file can not open or is not supported. Please advise on what I need to do.

If the files are .avi chances are they are DivX. Make sure you have thye DivX codecs installed.

I have installed the latest divix codex 4.02. Is there anything else that I need to do?

I've just installed the codec pack on my win2000 service pack to release and afterwards got a message saying that important files had been replaced which were needed to run windows, Had to insert my windows CD presumable to re-install the originals, why should this be and should I be concerned?
