Dunno in what section this goes as it's not related to DVD, VCD, SVCD it's actually ripping files.
I know there are several guides that can be found on the internet about how to rip *.PSS movie files from PS2 games. But these files are a lot different from the usual PS2 games:
1. Zone of the Enders, Zone of the Enders 2, and Metal Gear Solid 2 all seem to do the same thing. They store all the movie files in one huge file called movies.dat.
2. Guilty Gear XX. First time ive seen this, all the movie files are just bunched up into one movies.PAK file.
3. Yumeria. Another strange game, this one puts all the files into one movimage.bin file.
So most people know *.ISO or *.bin know that these image files can be opened with with UltraISO, WinImage, ISOBuster etc... but i can't seem to find any tool to view *.dat files *.PAK files![]()

The problem is it's not just one file inside the *.dat file.
I know that a lot of the games Konami makes (ZOE1, ZOE2, MGS2, etc) that have their movies are stored ALL in one big .DAT file, usually movies.DAT. I heard this filetype is called a munge file and that it contains all the PSS files in it.
So it's actually like ISOBuster you can look inside the image file and remove files or put other files in it.
Thx for answering.
