I dont use dvd2svcd (prefer to do everything manually) so someone else please correct me if Im wrong, but I think I found a small bug.

Friend of mine for whom I set dvd2svcd on his computer to make easy conversions of avi files to svcds with CCE had just upgraded his dvd2svcd to latest version (1.2.2.b1). Some SVCDs created with new version didnt play correctly on his player, so - to cut it short - I came in to dig in and check out. What I found is that the new version of dvd2svcd does not automatically start 3:2 pulldown on 23.976fps sources, as the previous version did (I believe it was 1.2.1 build 2), therefore it creates MPEG-2 files not so compliant with SVCD specs...
I found in settings tab that pulldown was set to auto (there are option to force manually 3:2 and 2:3 as well), but it failed to run.
I installed dvd2svcd 1.2.2.b3 on my computer, found some 23.976 avi file (some xvid smallville episode from the web) and I run it through without creating disc image. I can confirm that pulldown.exe wasn't executed on my computer either - although it was set to 'auto' and should have run.
I don't want my friend to have it set all the time to manually force pulldown since not all his source files are/will be 23.976fps, and I dont want him to tinker with any settings at all since he doesn't even know what MPEG is, much less pulldown so I installed back previous version of dvd2svcd on his comp.
Anyway I thought I should report here.

(finished mpeg file info)

BTW: The "Robshot" or whatever is the name of this multi-pass 'cheater' was intentionally not installed, but I dont think it has anything to do with it.
