How odd! Nero 5 does them just fine. I have 20+ of them sitting right here...

Memorex is pricky DVD media especially those -RWs and +RWs. Try Maxell +RW instead, I erased them in NERO 5 for less than 30 seconds each with LG GSA 4082B. They are same priced at Best Buy or Future Shop. Walmart has Maxell +RWs with cheaper prices. Avoid Princo as well for DVD rewritables.

Edit on May 24, 2004 - Bought a 3 Pack Memorex 4x DVD+RW. Really good and fast. Erased in just under 7 seconds. Later checked with DVD infoPro, it is the same one manufactured Maxell 4X DVD+RW. I am returning all my unopened Maxell 4x DVD+RW in exchange for Memorex 4x DVD+RW, they are cheaper!

  5. I don't know what the new ones are like, but I have to say at this point that my experience of my ageing Princo DVD-RW's is very favourable - in fact they have been more cross platform compatible than some regular -R media I have come across before now.

The site keeps throwing me out of the media list at the moment so I can't provide a link (or see what other people think of it), so here's the ADIP if anyone is interested:

Although I don't believe for a moment they were really made by TDK !

I've had my fair share of dodgy Princo discs before now, but I don't find them as bad as a lot of people on the forums do. I certainly love these -RW's and wish I bought more of them when I had the chance since I can't find these approximate ones anywhere these days, even if they are only good for 1x.
