    Well, if you have the trial version of Video Studio 7, try this:

    1. Edit your video normally, or load your pre-edited video into VS7.

    2. Select Share-->Create Disc-->DVD.

    3. Insert a CD-(R)W. Continue with the promts.

    Once the burn is complete, the disc will play in most DVD players that can play CD-Rs. Although some players have been known to have trouble with this format.
    Hello.

  3. What format do I make movie into a VOB file or a MPEG 2. Also do I put the CD into my DVD burner or the CD burner? I have Nero which is capable of buring Mini DVDs. Thanks Foz

    When I tried doing this I used Ulead DVD MF. Encoded the MPEG2 stream so that it had a reasonably low bitrate for a CD player (3000kbs?) using MCE and made sure the final file was < 600MB. Then using DVD MF authored the DVD as usual but in the final step rather than burn the DVD or create DVD Folders, created an iso image. Then used Nero to burn the iso image to a CDR. That played on one of my DVD players but not on another. Plus only got about 15 minutes of video on it I recall - maybe enough for 4-5 music videos

    sidenote:

    miniDVDs can play in SOME DVD players, but most dont...they get confused...cd media saying its a DVD. miniDVDs don't play on PS2, they do play on XBOX...just barely...stutters almost all the time, at best, you get about 3 seconds of acutal video and not glitchy macroblocks. that is, unless your using XBMP on a modded xbox.

  6. True enough - it's not a standard so it's touch and go if your DVD player will play them. Another issue besides recognition of the format is whether the drive in the DVD player is fast enough to spin a CDR with its lower data desnsity to gain the data rate enough to support the DVD video
