Ok, this is a difficult one!!, I donīt even know where to ask it!,
I have a RJ-1500DVX DVD player that can reproduce Divx, I also buy a DVD recorder, the question is....is there a way to create a DVD with DVD Menu to play Divx files instead .vob files?...
![]()
What I want to do is record many divx files to a DVDR and create a DVD Menu to reproduce the divxīs since the player can reproduce it!.
Hope you understand the question!..![]()

The DVD standard is based around menu and navigation encoded within the IFO files and video/audio/picture content encoded in the VOB files.
Actually, most DVD players don't recognise the actual files on the disk, they just read the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and use the absolute sector pointers there to navigate through the disk. (this is why many DVD players can't play MP3 audio on DVDs but they can on CDs).
Asking a DVD player (capable of decoding DivX video) to navigate through menus is something that (to my knowledge) has not been agreed as to how to be done and therefore most likely cannot be implemented.
You will have to do with the file oriented menu your player provides. The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
Please TRY post in correct forum! This has nothing to with any dvd to dvdr.
