capture computer screen on Sony Handycam using IEEE-1394

Hi. I would like to capture my computer screen using my digital camcorder. I'm wondering if there is a way to use the i-Link (IEEE-1394) to do that instead of using the s-video from the tv-out.

I know I can record movie files from the computer to the camcorder using the "firewire" but I want to be able to capture what I see on my computer monitor.

Is this even possible? Any ideas would be helpful.

Try CamStudio and Video Studio 7. CamStudio captures what is on your screen while VS7 can convert it and send it out to your camera.
