    Hi all,

I finally successfully burned an mpeg2 movie file which I created using Cyberlink PowerDirector 3 movie burner EZProducer. However, when I played the DVD on my standalone unit, it seemed to be slipping in and out of slowed down motion. It looked great before the burn but now . . . semi-slow-mo and then back to regular motion throughout the video.

What makes this happen, and what should I learn from this problem, finally, how can I fix it?

    Thanks, Randy

  2. Maybe your DVD player is having problems reading the disk. Hopefully its just a bad burn, but it may be your model of player can't handle it well. I suggest you download the sample disks from this website and try them in your player. That way you remove the possibility that you authored the disk wrong. Also sheck to see if their is any feedback on your player. You may just need to use a different type of disk.

Remember, all blank disks are not created equal. Sometimes the brand can make a difference as well.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm using Maxell DVD+R's bought at Walmart.

Maxell has always made very high quality stuff for me but you may be right.

It was a file I captured from my VCR using ATI MMC . .. who knows?

    Thanks, Randy
