    hello all i have a stupid but probably a simple question

    i have an avi file that has compressed audio...using virtuadub and uncompressed it it was saved as a wav...ok i used tmpeg to encode and i used the original avi for video and the new wav for audio..and it encoded...ok i used nero 5.5 to make vcd...when i place it in my vcd/dvd player i get a black screen and that is all...also i noticed the vcd on my dvd player says pcb (or something close to that ) vcd....what am i doing wrong...can some one send me a simple how to convert an avi to mpg1 tutorial....i have a program called avi2mpg but it says source uses compressed audio and wont work...Plz help
