DVD Author Error

This is kind of a unique error, so I wasn't able to find any info on it. I was converting an avi to dvd using DVD2SVCD and TMPGEnc. Encoding would get pretty far, but at DVD Author part of the process, the same error repeatedly occurs. Here is the error message from the DVD Author Log:

I have encoded many avi files and this is the first time I have had this error. Is there anything I can do to fix this, I am at a loss? If it is the source, then I can accept that and move on.

Did the file somehow get the "read only" bit set? Check it by right-clicking and then check the properties.
