As Capmaster says, it's pretty much all in the guides / tools sections. The short answer is unless the video card is an ATI All-In-Wonder that does do video captures, you WILL need a capture card or device either installed in you computer or connected to it (Firewire or USB).

After that, you will need software if it doesn't come with the card or device, probably a lot of hard drive space, and a device to burn the captured content onto (DVD or CD-R burner).
