Error message using EasyVCD 1.15a

Hi, tried twice to rip a DVD to VCD. On both occasions had the error message:

vstrip has caused an error in vstrip.exe. If the problem remains unsolved, try restarting your computer.

The computer then hangs and I have to physically shut it down.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

I've been having similiar problems with same Eazy VCD software. Used it successfully on several DVDs, then began having problems with it lockling up during rip. Have reloaded it and freed up more HDD space to no avail. It just completely locks the computer, but gives no error warnings. Also have to shut down and turn puter on again. Does it every time I try to use it now. Hope someone out there can help us...
