    Good evening forum members!

I recently downloaded a trial version of Cyberlink Power Director and today I made a 4GB movie and saved it in my video file directory. So far so good.

However, when I went to produce/burn a dvd using the mpeg2 file I'd created, Cyberlink said that the trial version of of Power Director didn't include EZProducer which I guess is what the software uses to burn DVDs.

So then I decided to just burn it using Nero Express but when I selected the file and dragged it into Nero, I got the following error message:

"The file "FILENAME" is larger than 2GB and therefore cannot be stored in an ISO file system. Please use the UDF file system to write such large files. This can be done by selecting another compilation type."

Here are the facts that I've discovered:
    1. In the file window it shows as an ATI File Type
    2. It was created in DVD MPEG2 format
    3. The file can be played just not burned

Has anyone had this error before. If so, any advice on trying solve the problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Randy

  2. In Nero, use the full program, not express, select DVD-Video to burn.
This will set Nero to burn UDF.
