Hi, I'm Hernan from argentina. For my birthday last week I Bought an Pinnacle PCTV (pci), with the idea of use it to record Nhl games, and Tennis Games (Coria's , Nalbandian, etc etc argentine players) . My idea was to: once recorded an event , burn it in DVD (Pionner 107d).
I installed it , recorded a Coria's game, and I burn it to DVD everything was beautiful, I test it on my PC and all was ok.
My problem was when I tryed it to play it in my pionner Stand alone player. I was very dissapointed when it only could be played in BLACK AND WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Ok here are some info usefull to try to solve my problem. My TV Cable standar is PAL-N (25fps). My DVD region is 4, (My player is region free). My TV is Multi-norm (ntsc, pal-n, pal b). I though that Zone 4 dvds were PAL N but I think that they are NTSC.(someone can tell me thaT?)
I never have problems with my DV caputures (Digital8) when i burn them into dvd and I play them in the stand alone (but they are NTsc 29,7).
I tryed to play it in other stand alone player (wich is multinorm) and black and white too..... . As for first Solution I can Imagine is that the stand alone dvd player can't reproduce pal !?, but,....they 're multi norm!!
I would like to recive help and want to Know if THERE IS ANY WAT TO CONVERT IT TO NTSC witouth any signal in the video of any convertion. I tried some convertions and yes, i could see it in colors but the video was played auwful, like some frames were missing and the players movements were weird.
Ok please I really need any help to do this, any info is apreciated.
Thanks a lot Hernan
