I'm about to buy a DVD Writer and I don't know which would be the best.

I'm in doubt between DVD LG 4081B and DVD PIONEER A107D

Which one of these do you guys think it's the best buying option ?

    Thanks

  2. I have the LG 4081 and a Pioneer AO4. I would get the LG DVD-RAm is a great format. You can download software right on the disc sam as a hard drive. Once you install the LG DVD-RAM driver's you LG burner is also a removable hard drive. There both very good but Pioneer will only read DVD-RAM will not right to DVD-RAM LG will. Plus is you buy a Panasonic DVD recorder you will wish you got the LG burner.

Thanks man, I have heard a lot of things about LG and Pioneer.

But as you have both, I'll trust your judgement.

And I'd like to ask something else, do you know where (URL) I can find specs for the LG wrtiter ? Is it 8x ?

The 4081 is dvd-r 4x, the 4082 is dvd-r 8x but both of them will do dvd+r at 8x. Check 'em out here.
