    I bought a CH DVR 1500 2 months ago in walmart. Was working good in States. Did some recording, the sound's been a bit weak though. Now I moved to Europe, and when I try to search for chanels, all I get is black and white and no sound.
    Can someone help?

    Do you realize that your Cyberhome recorder has an NTSC TV tuner, while in Europe the TV system is PAL? Welcome to the world of incompatible TV systems.

    Well, I do, my tv has both Pal and NTSC. I have a NTSC camcorder too, and it's working.

    Having a TV that does both NTSC and PAL won't do any good if the Cyberhome is only accepting NTSC input. I suggest looking in the manual to see if it can be set to accept PAL input.

    i think i can only choose ntsc/pal output, does not say anything about the input.
