  1. Has anyone been able to successfully back up Pulp Fiction?

I've been using DVDFab and CopytoDVD to back up movies (I always split movies onto two DVD-5s, I dont compress) but no matter what I try, Pulp Fiction fails after a few minutes.

Any body else have this problem, or been able to use another program?

    Thanks!!

looks like a read error with the disk

    i would try:

    cleaning the disk
using dvddecrypter to rip to the disk
    isobuster
    dvdshrink to rip

reading up on other posts about read errors on dvd's, stuff like using toothpaste to clean etc....

if all that failed i would obtain another copy of the movie and back that up

  5. I'd try ripping the DVD to the hard drive first.

clean the disc first... with brasso and armor all works very well.. cause if one of the ripper programs gets stuck on an error because the disc is scratched you really dont wanna mess up the drive
