If mats.hogberg sounds a little annoyed it's because your post makes you look like you are lazy and have completely ignored the tremendous resources that can be found in the guides section. Choose a guide and try it. If you get stuck with a problem, post specific questions. People will be willing to help if you make an effort to try and help yourself first. Good luck.

  4. I'm OK. I do read that section. No hard feeling
The reason I ask just because when the title write like this...." How to convert SVCD/XviD to DVD? "
What are the kind of DVD? DVD+-R/RW or DVD Rom???

It depends on what kind of media your DVD writer accepts. The same goes for your stand alone DVD player.

  6. I has the XViD movies file that I want to convert to DVD+RW. Firsrt I used VirtualDub/AC3 convert all the files that I need then I use TMPGen Plus to encode Video, Last I use TMPENC Author to combine Video and AC3 Audio together to become 2 files which are AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
I used Nero DVD-Video Mode to burn them on DVD+RW but after DVD done, I tried DVD Disc to my DVD player which can read DVD+RW , the DVD system could not read the DVD disc which I just burn...I got the message " Playback feature may not be available on this Disc"
Why?????. Hope that you have enough info so you can help me to solve this problem. Please help. Thanks

Sorry if I sounded annoyed (even if that was the intention right then )
The process of ??? to DVD is identical regardless of if it's a DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW. What to choose here depends like teegee says on A) What your burner handles and B) what your player handles.

Part from the burning stage, my process looks similar to yours (even if I mostly use IfoEdit to author), but I make DVD image of VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS using imgtools classic, then burn image with DVDDecrypter. I've also used TMPGEnc DVD Author to burn (when authoring with TDA) with good results.

    .
    A) I used all tool similar to your for burner.
    B) My player is Philips ...able to play DVD+RW. I used to DVD disc that I just done at step A but I got the message " Playback feature may not be avaible on this Disc"...really don't why? Do you have any suggestion?

Before, I converted the SVCD movies to DVD+Rw...it is OK to watch on my DVD player but this time..I am converting the XviD to DVD ..no luck at all. Do I need any special code???? Willing to learn as long as you willing to to teach me to solve this proble. Thanks

This is just a guess but could it be there is an error in your DVD's menu system? Does the DVD play normally on your PC?
