  1. Hello!

My problem is, i wanna make a project with 30 music videos MPG-2 format (80 MB each) to apply transition, logos, etc... between the clips, but my comp doesn't work well with a project with this size, specially the preview monitor. My computer is an Atlon XP 2.6, 1 GB Samsung DDR 333, 160 GB HD 7.200 rpm. Windows XP. So if anyone knows some tips to works with big files in premiere 6.5/pro or better settings cause the default is not good enough, please help me

    PS:
I'm newbie with premiere. I already have Adobe photoshop To make logos and Adobe Encore DVD 1.0, So i would like to stay with Adobe products.

    Thanx

  2. AFAIK, Premiere does not officially support import of mpeg-2 video. You may have better luck converting them to avi's at the same resolution. I suggest a DV codec if you have one.
