If it doesn't work for a specific player, it's not going to. As long as you followed the guide, and it still doesn't work, then you'll have to go through a re-encode. This was written almost 10 years ago. Back then it took a LOT longer to encode a DVD. These days, it's fast and done in a minutes.

I Have just Purchased the new “Panasonic DMP-UB9000 the only Discs it likes is the 4K UHD PAL/NTSC, sadly when I play normal TV Series Blu-Rays Pal region B I from Australia . I purchased the complete Star
Trek:The Next Generation I get Artefacts and skipping mostly at the first chapter before the credits..
