  1. is there a good tool or plugin to remaster the sound on a compressed realaudio file? they always have those nasty compression artifacts, and I wonder if there's a recipe how to reduce these.

  3. are you sure? I mean I guess you can at least make it sound a bit better, cause for example the higher frequencies sound more damaged than the low ones...

  4. you can try messing with the EQ but most likely it will just increase the "warbling" sounds...

    You can try decompressing to wav with something like EO Video and then running the wav through some filters in an audio editor like Goldwave or Cool Edit. I doubt it will make much difference with compression artifacts.
