I have here some .ogm files witch i want to encode to mpeg4 .avi or SVCD.
It apears that ffmpegX doesen't support these kind of files. Everytime i tried to encode one of the .ogm files ffmpegX says:

Encoding started on Tue May 18 18:56:41 CEST 2004
    /Volumes/Macintosh HD 2/Shared/Ai.Yori.Aoshi.-.10.-.School.-.(96919766)(Dub.Sub.Jap.Eng.Eng).ogm: Unknown format

The same come's up with the other codecs. Is it impossible to encode a .ogm file?

  2. - remove all spaces and special characters from your hard disk names, folder names, file names
    - Open the .ogm file
    - Select SVCD quick preset
    - Enable the "Decode with mplayer" option
    - Select audio track = 1
