    If you are going to use the disk for DLA (drive letter access) which allows you to drag and drop files in explorer, then yes. Otherwise no.

    I don't know about all burn software, but with what I've used- if the disk is formatted for DLA and you're going to use it to burn non-DLA you also have to erase the disk (not just delete the files on the disk).
