    Hi all,
I have manage to use AutoGK to convert a DVD to DIVX and also have it made the subtitles out for an external viewer(VOBSUB). Through this i have got a few files which one of them is the AVI file and the rest are IDX/SUB file.
What I would like to know is
    1. Am I able to put the subs in to the avi and use Vobsub to enable the language that i need.(Something similar to OGM files)?

    2. Is AutoGK able to make OGM files?

Anyone that is pro in this field please enlighten me.

  2. It won't do it directly, but it can sort of make ogm.
You would convert just the video with AutoGK, then use some other program to make the ogm with seperate audio streams and subtitles, at least that's how I hear it being done.
    Here's a quick ogm guide: http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/ogg.htm
    Blah, blah, blah

Open the avi with Virtualdubmod, go to streams>stream list, click "add" and load your subtitle file, click ok, go to the video menu and select "direct stream copy", then go to file and save as OGM.

Here is what I did and what I actually wanted
    1. Used AutoGK to encode the DVD to AVI with external subtitle which needs VOBSUB to view
    2. Converted the IDX/SUB to SRT format.
    3. Used VIRTUALDUBMOD to add the subtitle stream
    4. Save as OGM.

The result is a video without subs. Even the VOBSUB or OGG icon doesn't appear in the tray bar. Any remedy?
What i actually wanted is to make multiple subs that i can choose from the vobsub menu.

  7. Well, you can go directly to www.doom9.net -> guides -> divx/xvid -> ogg media stream guide

Ah, I thought you already had Vobsub installed. Why don't you just add more subs to the OGM? Have tried using Directvobsub instead?

So you were using MPC. There's probably a way to switch the subs in the right click menu.
