  3. I have never heard of a Benq 40x12x48 dvdwriter either.
Let's get the hardware sorted out first.
Does either of your optical drives read -r disks?
Do you really have a Benq dvd writer that only writes +r ?
Are you really trying to illegally copy to +r all your friends -r illegal copies of movies?

  4. my writer is a LITE-ON LDW-401S and will only burn DVD+R discs. When copying shop bought DVD's I use DVD Decrypter, DVD-To-One and Copy To DVD and I get perfect results every time. But when someone lends me a copied DVD on a DVD-R disc I usually Drag And Drop it on to my hard drive, from there I've tried using copy to dvd, nero and DVD Decrypter and also copying from disc to disc. but usually after recording on my DVD+R discs, when playing on my computer or my TV it tends to freeze up at some time during the playback. I hope this info helps.
    Thanks

  5. Try DVDShrink, direct from dvd to hard drive to dvd.

  6. The LiteON 401 can be converted into LiteOn 411 (dual format)
