  1. I have a Winfast 2000XP expert and Recently I tried opening Winfast PVR after not using this in a few months and it crashed straight away without bringing up a image at all it also crashed with Virtual VCR and Virtual dub Saying there was no capture card I did not take any notice of this because I was planning on taking the capture card out and putting it in my brothers computer because I was having sync issues a few months ago after putting it in my brothers computer it worked fine so I remove it and put it back in my computer after doing so it was not recognised (didn't come up with install hardware Wizard) So I manualy tried installing it by selecting the device in the hardware wizard I clicked next and the computer crashed so I restarted it and clicked windows start normally and it crashed again so I restarted it and selected Start windows with last known good configuration and it worked fine So my Winfast 2000XP expert is not being detected at all PLEASE HELP!!
    Thanks

  2. There could be a PCI slot problem, but before we go into a hardware issue, I suggest you first Uninstall all related software/drivers for your card, shut the PC down, take the card out, load Windows in Safe Mode and make sure there are no more references to the card anywhere.

Once you are positive there are no drivers in your system for the card, shut it down again, and install the card in another PCI slot (just to make certain!) and power up the PC again and see if it is being detected.
