  1. Hey optix,
i am trying for a long time, to find the easiest way, to take a VOB file, and convert it to an AVI (uncompressed) file, with its audio synched up, for Premiere editing.
[ The less clicks the better the app]

Would anyone, have any guidance for the blind?

Does Pemiere accept frame served input? You could skip the uncompressed AVI part, and just frame serve from DVD2AVI. If it does not accept frameserved input, then DVD2AVI also allows you to save VOB files directly to AVI format.

Check the GUIDES section for info on DVD2AVI. It's about the easiest way to join and access all of the VOB files without much fuss. It also requires no MPEG-2 decompressor.
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...

    In that case:
    Code:
    rename *.vob *.avi
Not a single click. And doesn't work. But saved you a lot of time & money!
