  1. The vertical lines aren't that bad. It looks like there is a vertical line that spans the entire screen(from top to bottom) where a single line of pixels is just missing. I cant notice it unless I am looking up close, but I want to eliminate them if possible. I get this from all the movies that I compress with dvd shrink.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Also, how do I make a screenshot? I'm getting owned by that anti-printscreen thing that dvd's have.

    I think this thread could be a bit more fruitful if you guys/gals could actually see what I'm talking about.

    Most software DVD players has a screen shot/ snap shot function...

  4. I downloaded windvd to take screenshots when I noticed something:

    the lines do not appear on windvd. I'm guessing that it's wmp giving my dvd those damn lines. Its strange, because it only gives vertical lines to dvdr's that I've burned. I'm going to check it out on some standalone players, to what the effect is on those.
