    is it possible to author a dvd so it automatically starts at the second chapter(or at a given point)? I have a dvd with an intro and would like to keep the intro intact on the disc but set the DVD to automatically play after the intro. I was thinking there would be some authoring program out there that can simply set it so it automatically starts at the second chapter but I'm not really familiar with them. can this be done and if so what software would I need? the only thing is I want to keep the quality of the video intact but that shouldn't be much of an issue as well as retain compatibility with stand alone dvd players(not sure how much of an issue this would be). thanks in advance!

    With DVD Maestro or Sonic Scenarist you can. You must specify your movie as the First PGC and redirect the playback to the second chapter.
