    When I try to import mpegs, I get the message 'Unsuportted [..]'
    When I use Quicktime, I get no sound...

    Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    You're probably doing nothing wrong. Quicktime doesn't play AC3 audio without a codec installed. Try VLC or MPlayer instead to test it out.

    As for DVDSP, try demuxing and remuxing the mpeg before importing. If that doesn't work, try fixing the time code with MoreMissingMPEGTools' BTS function.

    dsp only works with elementary streams (demuxed streams) use moremissingtools to demux and then change the audio to 48 if its not already.

    Perhaps this one? Although it says it's only for AVI files.
