    I want to backup a DVD video disc which seems to be protected, even the directory of the disc cannot be seen in the computer. Any idea to do the backup?

    I know xilisoft DVD ripper can do that. I've successfully ripped 3-4 protected DVDs with the software. see here http://www.xilisoft.com
