  1. Hi,

I am a complete newbie to DVD ripping and am using Super DVD Ripper 2.11. When I try to convert a dvd to vcd (dumping initially to the hard disk), I get the error "audio decoding error". If I ignore the error and continue to rip, the mpg file in the harddisk has broken audio every few seconds. I am using a PIII with Windows XP. Please let me know how I can get rid of this error. Thanks

    Warm regards,
    Ranjani

I used an earlier version of that software and I never saw that error. Maybe it's a bug or maybe it has something to do with your slower PIII system. You might want to try making your VCD the old fashioned way. Rip the DVD to your hard disk using DVD Decrypter, load the VOB's in DVD2AVI and save your project, then load the .d2v file into TMPGEnc and choose the VCD template. This method is a little more complex than using an all-in-one solution like Super DVD Ripper but it's much more reliable to use multiple programs.

  3. So why not use DVD423C39u29t55ter?It's one of the best. In fact, it's not a true name. If you wanna know its real name you will have to get rid of all of the arabic numerals in "DVD423C39u29t55ter", then you should find its real name
Why do it? Because some bastards always hack it!
You can search and find it in http://www.cnet.com or just google it!
Pay attention to: You must delete all arabic digits from DVD423C39u29t55ter, then you will find the software's real name...
