Some how I have lost my Mpeg-1 Codec. My Videos now look blocky. I have tried:
Re-installing Windows Media Player
Using XingMpeg
Re-install my video drivers
Re-installing DirectX
and
Sacrificing a Virgin 8^)
I think I need a new Mpeg-1 codec or something. What should I do.

there is no MPEG-1 "CoDec". MPEG 1 is a standard, no real compression (like WAVE audio). somehow some DLL or something in WMP got screwed up sounds like. Try this, get rid of XingMPEG, no real use for it, there r better progs out there. And re-install the Vid drivers/DirectX again. hopefully thatll do it, but definitely get rid of Xing.
