I have a two-disk collection, six episodes of an old favorite TV show. Unfortunately, 4 episodes are on Disc 1 (totaling 5.9 MB) and 2 episodes are on Disc 2 (totaling 3.3 MB). So if I back up Disc 1, it will require serious compression to fit on a DVD-R, and Disc 2 will under-utilize the space on a DVD-R. Fortunately, each episode appears to be fully contained in separate VOB files.
Is there a tool to re-author both discs so that 3 episodes are on each of two DVD-R's? If so, could someone give me some guidance on how to use that tool to accomplish this? I'm a little beyond a novice at DVD-authoring, but I'm not up so speed on editing the contents of IFO and VOB files.
