  1. I have a two-disk collection, six episodes of an old favorite TV show. Unfortunately, 4 episodes are on Disc 1 (totaling 5.9 MB) and 2 episodes are on Disc 2 (totaling 3.3 MB). So if I back up Disc 1, it will require serious compression to fit on a DVD-R, and Disc 2 will under-utilize the space on a DVD-R. Fortunately, each episode appears to be fully contained in separate VOB files.

Is there a tool to re-author both discs so that 3 episodes are on each of two DVD-R's? If so, could someone give me some guidance on how to use that tool to accomplish this? I'm a little beyond a novice at DVD-authoring, but I'm not up so speed on editing the contents of IFO and VOB files.

Authoring programs that take VOBs would be good here
    Dunno what you have.
With TDA for example , you could put 3 VOBs each on a DVD

Alternatively you could get IfoEdit to "make ifos" for
3 VOBs each . which gets you no menu , but free
