Just thought I would ask, is anyone is experiencing their backup copy of a DVD, playing back with a few stutters. I have a very fast system, so I know it's not hardware. CPU_4.13g, XP Pro.
It's not a really big deal, but it would be nice to have a jitter free copy. I use CopyToDVD & DVDShrink, as the Lite-On 811S MyDVD software is about as useless as T's on a Bull {Crash City}. Though PowerDVD is very good.
Is there software out there that can remove this small aggrevation?
BTW -The Lite-On is great, the problem is also reflected when using regular DVD players, on the burned copy.
Or does one have to live with a few jitter bugs?

Could it be a media issue? Try buying TDK in a jewel case and test
on that. -
Using Ritek -R media, but you have a point -Would not hurt to try another media. Most people seem to have the thier best luck with Ritek though. Sorry, forgot to add the obvious before.
Thanks -
So you are saying that this problem occurs on playback with
both your PC and standalone DVD player?
If a media change does not clear up things, I'd be checking the burnt DVD
media for errors and look at the possibility of firmware upgrades for
your Liteon. If you do a search you will find several threads that
discuss what you are experiencing. AFAIK all were media issues. -
Yes, PC & XBOX+ DVD Player. Seems it might be the software, perhaps CopToDVD or Shrink? -Running the latest Adaptec drivers.
