    Having re-installed Nero, I have found that neither of my 2 disk drives are there, and i have none to choose from to select. Any ideas how i set this up?

    Hover over " Computer details" for my PC specs.

    I guess i had to download that file from the 1st link? I did so but it was already in my Nero folder, so it obviously wasn't missing, and I've checked that I'm logged in as an Administrator.
    Any ideas?

  5. Did you reinstall because you had problems with Nero? Uninstalling problematic software usually leaves problematic residue. If you reinstall the software, the installer occasionally won't overwrite files (libraries) that are current (date)..........even if they are corrupted!

    There's a "Nero Clean Tool" to completely remove all traces for a reinstall at:

    I too would like to know;
    "What are your system specs? Is this a Mac or a PC?".
    The truth is in the details!

    Thanks for the replies guys- I've attempted to install the ASPI driver, but I think it was there anyway.
    I had to re install windows so thats why Nero had to be re installed, but prior to this it recognised bothg drives, as it always has.

    You're using the version of Nero that came bundled with your drive(s)?

    I only have Pinnacle Studio 8 editing s/w installed that is simailar to Nero

    Its the "Nero ASPIen" driver that I was advised to install, but I think it already was.

    Thanks for the link Budz- I followed the instructions but DMA was already enabled- i sisn't have to change anything.
    I think I'll have a go at uninstalling it with the clean up tool to see if that solves it.
