MSN Messenger logs...where are they kept?

I just had a very interesting conversation on MSN Messenger and I think that logs are kept...where would they be stored on my hdd so that I can retrieve them?

I don't think that logs of your conversation are kept by your PC - most employers MAY keep logs on one of their servers... mine does - of course they tell you that everytime you turn on MSN messenger.....

If you had this conversation on a work computer - then most likely the logs, if any, are kept somewhere where you can't get them.

As for home, and I could be wrong on this, there are no logs kept. Once you close the messenger, you lose the conversation.

Someone else may know better, but that's my understanding of it...

they should be in My Documents/My Chat Logs. i use messenger plus and thats where it stores mine. im not sure if the regular version of messenger stores the logs or not

yeh sitlet is write but i think its only in the latest versions.
I'm not sure but if i remember correctly the folder has a hidden attribute( not installed anymore so i can't check)
