synchronizing mpg

I was wondering if someone could please tell me
if there is a program that will synchronize
mpg audio with the video. I am currently using
MGI VideoWave SE+ to capture my avi files, but have
to recapture in order to synch the audio with
the video. I am capturing video from my camcorder.
If there is no program that will do this after the mpg
has been made, what settings am I to use with the
MGI software to properly capture video/audio.

If the sync is consistently out by the same amount, you could set the Audio Gap in Source Range option in TMPEGEnc.

load Mpg movie in TMPEGEnc
click Setting
Double-click Source Range
Set Audio Gap by estimation of sync
Encode Mpg file

There are many possible ways to do this. This is just one way.
