Is there any way to get bigger than a 6kb avatar by linking to another location. Much in the same way you can link a pic larger than 50k in a post

it would be kinda cool if you could link your avatar to an outside source.. tgpo's avatar gave me the idea of using a clock (GMT) that updated once a minute.

Photoshop. There's nothing that you can't do with Photoshop, if you know how to use it. The original GIF was poorly excecuted with lot's of redundent frames. It was a simple matter of deleting some frames and reducing the color count to 16. It could've ben made smaller with little loss of quality.

The transparent background one looks better, but you choose. I made my avatar from video footage of me racing my Dragbike down the Quarter Mile. That's me on my way to a mid-8 sec pass @ over 150 mph!

No more requests, I've got more important things to do, like edit my Son's Championship wining Baseball game.
