  1. Hi,

I am trying to create a DVD with ac3 audio and optional subbing ( i already have the .sub file, but i don't want the subs to be permanent).

I used TMPGEnc dvd author, and it supports ac3, but not subs. I tried DVDlab, but there seems that it can't support ac3 (not sure whether it can support subs cause i can't generate the subtitle stream in the program).

Can someone suggest another way, or a program.

    Thanks.

I would think so, but I also think that if you're using beta releases, you should expect bugs.

try a non-beta and see if it works...

  6. What are you using to create the ac3 files? DVD-lab won't create ac3 files for you, you'd have to use something like ffmpeggui, BeSweet, or another program to create the ac3 audio file.

  7. Well, i don't know cause i converted the audio to ac3 using ac3machine. tmpge author can author the dvd without any problem....but when i try using dvdlabpro, an error comes out when i try to compile (something about the files not being compliant). When i compile without the audio, there isn't any error....

The video is in m2v format.

Another problem is that the subs don't come out. When i import the *.sub file, nothing comes out...i don't see any time or subbing in the window (like the dvd-lab tutorial in here).
