  1. I have a wav playing in my slide show and it is 2 mins 5 secs long. But in the finished dvd the pictures skip thro fine, but there is no audio. Is this wav too long? Or is is something else?

You're a tad lacking on details! I've done an 8min 28s slideshow with DVD-Lab with no problems, so the audio length is not the problem.

Did you build the slide show with DVD-Lab's built in slideshow generator? How many images, and what file format? Is your Wav 16 bit, 48khz stereo? It certainly sounds like a problem with your source wav to me.

  4. There are 25 images annd the wav IS 16 bit stereo 48khz. I dont know what the built in generater is but I just used the slide show thing in dvd lab and created a new show and added the slides.

Hmmmm! I did a search on the DVD-Lab forums, and it seems you are not alone.

I'm not sure why it works for me, but not for you. I tried building a slideshow using DVD-Lab Standard (version 1.4 beta 2), and DVD-Lab Pro (version 1.4 beta 3), I used 97 images and the 8min audio, and in both cases it plays fine. I only tried playing from my hard drive, with WinDVD 4.0, and Nero Showtime.

I could not find a definitive solution for this, but have a read of this thread, perhaps there may be a solution there for you.

Otherwise, the only advice I have is to build the slideshow in a video editor and encode to MPEG, then import to DVD-Lab.

    Good luck!

  6. So, I changed the audios so they were all the same throughout the disc. Menus Movies slideshow. So all audios were Wav 48. The slideshow now has sound but it jumps when it changes picture. Any help?

  7. I had the smae problem. The source Audio I was using was .wav and then I tried mp3, but neither is supported. What I ended up doing is running an mp3 through powerdirector (my DV editing software) w/o any image...just left the lense cap on...theis tuned the file into a mpeg2 and i was able to use it!
