I have looked in the FAQ & Tutorials, but cant find an exact answer to my query.
I am using VS8 to edit my files and create my mpegs ready to burn to dvd.
Do i need to string all the mpegs together with VS to create one big file to burn, or can i burn them separately on one DVD?
    TIA.

    Tecstar,
I do not think that DVDs will allow multisession burns. That is burn one mpeg one day, then another the next day. Not real sure about this, having never tried it myself. However, I am certain others who do know for sure will chime in.

However, in the meantime, it is possible to burn each mpeg to one DVD in one session (provided you do not exceed the capacity of the DVD) and create a menu selection system to choose which one to watch. This can be done in TmpGenC DVD Author. Just add each mpeg as a separate track and you should be fine. Of course it would make sense that they be of the MPEG2 kind (although not absolutely necessary) and that the audio be sampled at 48Khz.

With tmpgenc dvd author you can burn all the mpgs in on track so they play as one file or you can add each mpg to separate tracks so they burn the way i believe you asked about,mpg1 and mpg2 can be burned on the same dvd as long as they are in separate tracks.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
