what is best cd- blank media?

hello all. i have recently started to convert my dvd's to divx and i was wondering what the is the best brand blank cd-r media to use to back them up. i ask because i have used other media for backing up files and they were pretty much crap. thanks for the help.

I never tried Taiyo Yuden, but they're supposed to be good. I also quit using CDs for video a couple months ago, but before that I liked TDK better than any other CDs I tried (which included Maxell, Imation(?), Circuit City store brand and a 3-4 others.

I have bought Fuji branded CD-Rs (Prodisc) that I am not too happy with. Also, Khypermedia 8x branded was bad (partly my fault admittedly). It's is not too hard to take crapy media and put a no-name brand on it either.
