Lite-On 5005 DVD Player/Recorder

Overall I was blown away by this DVD Player/Recorder. The Lite-On LVW-5005 performs amazingly well and offers a feature that, as I see it, will soon become a standard. The ability to record TV to a DVD is a great option for many people; this will be replacing a lot of VCRs in many homes. It also supports a wide variety of formats to read from so you can watch your home made videos or perhaps a custom made VCD. With its price tag a lot lower than its competitors the LVW-5005 shines above the rest. It looks great and can also connect to your camcorder. If you are looking to replace your VCR or DVD Player I highly suggest this, the quality of recording is simply stunning.

When I heard about this Lite-On DVD player I thought, ‘Cool another DVD player for me to tinker with, I wonder what will set this a part from the rest.’ Boy was I surprised when I heard it can record live TV onto a DVD. I never knew this technology existed"

So he's never heard of a DVD Recorder and was surprised that it could record to DVD direct from TV.

And then he's going to tell us why it's so much better than the ones he didn't even know existed?

We really need reviews like that.
