Problem with Ulead DVD Factory

Its seems that i have a bad file or somesort of error. what happens is when i get to the part when you make the menu it freezes when you try to skip to a part of the video or after a few menu items are added. i want to know if anyone else has had a problem like this

i had this problem a couple of times when i tried to bring up my mpeg file, it freezes, so i had to reboot my computer. after that it works fine and so what i did from thereon, i tried to give the computer some time to do its work one at a time like 8 seconds or so and do another task.
