Hi, I'm writing a school report on the job as a webdesigner. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the basic requirements for this job such as: years of experience, education, years of schooling, training, etc. Do you need any diplomas? How does one get this job in the first place; does someone hire you into a webdesign company? Information freelance webdesigners, creators, maintainers, etc. are all appreciated.

  2. The job really doesn't have any requirements for you to get into it. You could do a webdesign course at university or college or you could learn it yourself off the net or from a book.

You can get into it just by messing around with a personal site and going from their or as said above going to uni/college to learn about. You can also choose to work freelance, start your own company or go to work for a company.

Its a job with no set ways really.

Then how much do you get paid? Is it set by yourself or the client?
