i downloaded a video and the file name is like this _xvid-fov.[BT] i have donwloded videos like this before and i always use mainconcept to convert it but when i try with this one it crashes. i loaded it into Gspot and it gives no information on what it is so i think i need a codec but i can't find out which i need. it doesn't play in any media player either. i already have a xvid codec and i can play those video on my computer with no problem so whats the deal? please help.

It's a fake file. It's not really a movie at all, just a waste of bandwidth from people trying to stop people like you from downloading via P2P.
That's just a guess.
If it were really an avi, GSpot would tell you so.Cheers, Jim
